We are finally home!

Olivia Rose Peterson was born on October 8th, 2007, at 2:49 pm. She weighed 5 lbs and 11.5 ozs. She was healthly even though she decided to make her entrance into this world 3 1/2 weeks early!

Before we left the hospital, we found out she had jaundice...so she became our little glow bug as she had to use a light called a Biliblanket to try to get her levels down. We got to come home but she had to continue to use the Biliblanket and get her blood levels checked the next day. Unfortunately, we had to go back to the hospital the next day, because her levels had jumped up a lot. She got to do a little suntanning under the lights and wear her sunglasses. We got to come home for a few days as her levels went down, but a few days later we were back in the hospital as her levels were going up again, and she was not eating. We stayed at the hospital for two more nights, but officially came home on Tuesday night!

Olivia is doing much better...her jaundice is gone and she is eating much better! Mom and dad can relax now and enjoy Olivia!

What a difficult adventure back and forth so many times! We know what that's like...Micah did the same thing. Aren't those sunglasses too funny? Anyhow, your daughter is simply precious. Congrats mom and dad for all your great work producing such a beautiful little angel!

Thank goodness she is home! We have been worried but knew she was in good hands. She just needed a little extra TLC. What a lucky little girl to have such a loving family! Can't wait to see her.
Much love, Auntie Marcia
