Winter girls

We had Olivia's, Ali's, and our pictures taken a few weeks ago. The girls are so cute! Here are a few, and I will add the others soon.

Olivia continues to do more and more things everyday. She's started blowing kisses, which is absolutely adorable. She even makes the mmmmmma sounds while she does it.

We hope that all of our family and friends have a safe and wonderful Christmas!

Thanksgiving Feast

Yesterday, at Olivia's daycare, they had a feast. It was very cute. Everyone (from infant to preschool) ate a feast in the hallway for lunch. Her teachers even made the kids little costumes. She was a little Indian girl...she was wearing a little brown tee-shirt that had the sleeves and bottom cut.

She's getting so big. She's mastered the sippy cup and is using her walking toy to help walk around the house.

Olivia has had the stomach flu for the past few days. I'll spare the details, but we've had to give many baths! Luckily, she's still in a good mood and loves to take a bath. Here are some snapshots of her taking a bath in the sink with lots of bubbles!

Happy Halloween!!

Olivia dressed up like a pink poodle, which was adorable (I'm a little biased!). She didn't go trick-or-treating, since she doesn't eat the candy and mom and dad don't need any! Plus, she wasn't feeling so hot yesterday...I think that she has a little stomach virus. So she sat on our laps and handed out candy. She LOVED watching all the kids and dogs come around.

1st Ear Infection

Olivia has her first ear infection. Poor baby. She isn't fussy. She just has been pulling on her ear and putting it on/up against things. In the pic, she's laying it on the floor (she's surrounded by her new toys!! Thanks everyone). She started right after her birthday party ,and it was officially diagnosed yesterday! Hopefully, she won't get anymore!!

Olivia loves going to the park, especially when she can go on the swings!! She wasn't too sure of the bouncy horse though.

1st Birthday Party!

We had a big 1st birthday party for Olivia on Saturday. Thank you to all of our family and friends that came. We had a blast. Olivia is so blessed with so many great people in her life (us too!!). Here are so pics of the big day.

Happy 1st Birthday Olivia Rose!!

Olivia turned 1 year old on Wednesday! I can't believe how fast time flies. She went to the doctor for her check-up. She weighed 20 lbs, 4 oz (30 percentile), and she was 30.75 inches tall (95 percentile!!!). She's so tall for her age. It's hard to believe that she was almost 4 weeks early and her weight & height were in the 2nd percentile!

We went out to dinner to celebrate. She wasn't too sure of the waitresses & waiters singing to her, but she did love the cupcake!! She had also tried 1/2 of a cupcake earlier at school/daycare. She especially liked the cake part.

Going to the Apple Orchard

We visited the apple orchard with our friends Lisa & Dan. We got apples, picked our pumpkins, and went on a wagon ride. We had a lot of fun. Plus, Olivia really like the caramel apple sucker...thanks to Frank!

Football Baby

The past 2 weekends Olivia has been rooting for her favorite football teams (Notre Dame, Purdue, and Western Michigan). We went to South Bend for the Notre Dame Vs. Purdue last weekend and went to Kalamazoo this weekend for WMU's Homecoming. Her Uncle James was on the Homecoming Court. She's had a lot of fun cheering and watching the game and fans!

11 Months Old & we're crawling!

It's hard to believe that Olivia is going to be 1 year old in about a week and a half! How fast the time flies. Enjoy some pictures that we had taken when she just turned 11 months. We couldn't resist the tutu. Plus, about 2 weeks ago, she finally started to crawl! Yeah! Now she's off and into everything.
