Happy 16 weeks Stella!

Stella is now 16 weeks old....she'll be 4 months old in a few days! It's hard to believe that it's been that long! She is such a happy baby but we are still battling her reflux. She smiles all the time and loves her big sister! She coos and goos a lot...more than Olivia did! I think we are going to have a house of chatty girls! She tries to sit up all the time as she loves looking around. She will look when we talk to her or call her name. She goes to the doctor on Thursday for her 4 month visit! I'll update on how much she weighs!

Day 6 - Last Day in Chicago

Before we left, we went to the Science and Industry Museum. This is such a fun museum, and we didn't have enough time here. I'm sure we'll go back! We had fun watching the Imax movie, playing in the Idea Factory, learning in the farming area, seeing the baby chicks hatch, and discovering how babies at each week grow in the womb. After the museum, it was off to the train and back home. Stella slept the whole way, and Olivia made a new friend! What a great vacation...we can't wait to go back!

Day 5 - To the Field Museum!

We ventured to the Field Museum. What a huge place it is!! We could have stayed all day, but enjoyed a few hours before the girls got tired. We had fun in the Underground Adventure where you shrink down under the ground, playing in the Children's playlab, seeing the mummies, and animals!

Day 4 in Chicago

We went to the Planetarium and had a blast! They just opened a new children's exhibit called Planet Explorers, where the kids can pretend to be astronauts and launch rockets, travel to a new planet, build things on the new planet, etc. Olivia and Ali loved exploring this area, and Olivia really liked watching the Seasame Street Movie about the moon!

Chicago - Day 3

For the 3rd day in Chicago, we decided to go to Shedd Acquarium. We had an awesome time looking at the dolphins, whales, penguins, and fish! Olivia is still talking about seeing the dolphins! Plus, Ali and I got a little shopping in that afternoon while the girls took naps!

Chicago - Day 2

On our 2nd day in Chicago, we walked to the Hancock Observatory and saw the awesome views of the city from overhead. It was a clear day, and we were once again amazed by the great building and beautiful lake. Olivia really liked to look out the windows and really loved washing the windows in the playarea (so did Frank!). Ali liked going out on the Skywalk. After that, we walked to Navy Pier. We had fun playing at the Children's Museum, and Frank, Ali, and Olivia rode on the Ferris Wheel.
