We hope all of our friends and family have a wonderful Christmas!! We have been truly blessed with a gift from God...who is a present under our Christmas tree! And while she is a perfect baby...she does get fussy sometimes and there's a picture to prove it!
Olivia turned 2 months old on Saturday. She had her check-up at the doctor today. She weighs 9 lbs 9.5 oz (10th percentile) and is 20.5 inches long (5th percentile). She's still measuring small (our peanut) but the doctor was extremely happy with her weight gain! She was in the 3rd percentile at her 2 week visit. Plus, she had to get 5 shots!! Daddy took her, and she did NOT like the shots! Poor baby. :o( He videotaped it on his phone, so I wouldn't miss it...momma cried when she saw Olivia crying!
Plus, enjoy these photos from a photo shoot with her cousin Ali and Aunt Emma! She also had to show off her girly Christmas party dress!
Olivia had a busy Thanksgiving visiting all of the Petersons and Conners! She continues to grow as she now weighs about 8 1/2 lbs! She's our little turkey! Here are are few photos from Thanksgiving in our very cute Thanksgiving bib from Auntie Debbie and Kendra.
Aunt Jonice, Uncle J., and Korbin came to visit this weekend. Olivia loved all the attention especially from Korbin, who called her his little sister! :o) She got all dressed up in her "Got Milk?" outfit that her favorite cousin Ali gave her. Plus, she thought that it looked great with her hand made cow blanket! Plus, if you look up close at her outfit, you can tell that Daddy got her dressed. Her pants are under her onesie!
Olivia decided to try out taking a nap in her room. She decided that she liked it...although mom isn't ready for her to sleep there at night! Plus, she wanted to show off her room to those who haven't been able to see it in person!
Where are Olivia's legs? If you can see, they are NOT in the legs of sleeper. She has them curled up inside of it! Silly girl!
Olivia is officially one month old today. She is awake more often...although she still sleeps a ton. She actually has her eyes open in the pictures above, which doesn't normally happen. She is still so laid back...a perfect baby. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she doesn't realize she can cry! She truly has never cried, only a wail or two here and there. She is about 7 lbs now! She can wear her Newborn clothes now as the Premie size is becoming too small. She had a photo shoot today...we will share pictures when we get them back. They were really cute!!!
Olivia really enjoys her bath times...especially when there are bubbles! Can you tell how much she has grown in the past 4 weeks! Just compare to her first bath pictures. She still likes to curl her legs up making it a little hard to wash all those baby parts...yoga legs!
Olivia was the cutest pumpkin ever (ok, we're kind of biased :o) ) for her first Halloween. Although, she wouldn't know, since she slept through it! Plus, don't tell her that it's a pet costume!! It was the only costume small enough for our peanut. Olivia also says thank you to Aunt Debbie and Cousin Kendra for the cute Halloween bib.
This past weekend, Olivia visited Grant for the 1st time. She got to meet most of our great neighbors and friends at our last baby shower hosted by our best friends, Jonice and J.! Olivia adored all the attention that Korbin (her adopted brother!), Jonice and J.'s 4 year old, showed her. He was so caring and really enjoyed helping with her. He even wanted her to sleep with him! Plus, she received so many nice presents! Thank you to everyone. We had such a good time...and miss our Grant family.
Olivia traveled back to Flint yesterday to meet some of the Peterson family. She adored all of the attention, hugs, and kisses from her great grandpa, her Aunts Paula, Cindy, Marcia, Debbie, and Sal, her cousins Kendra and Ali, and her Uncle Roy. She can't wait to go back again!
We were lucky to have visitors from both sides of the family today. Frank's dad, his girlfriend Lori, and their baby girl Emma (Olivia's aunt whose only 7 1/2 months older than her :o) ) came Sunday morning. Then, Sarah's parents, her brothers, and her grandma came to visit Sunday evening. Olivia loved all the attention and kisses (even though she slept through most of it)!
