Our first taste of Rice Cereal...

Olivia had her 4 month check-up on Wednesday. She was 4 1/2 months old at the visit. She weighed 13 lbs (40th percentile) and was 24.5 inches long (50th percentile). She sure has caught up since her premie days!! The doctor said we could start introducing rice cereal now...however, as you can see in the pictures, Olivia was having none of it! We have tried 2 more times, and...no luck! She just cries, so I guess we are going to wait a while. She has been getting better head control...which has been a little slow since she does not like tummy time. Olivia does like to fly in the air, but you have to watch out for drool falling from the sky!

I can do it!

Olivia has been holding her own bottle a little bit! We couldn't believe it...but here are some pictures to prove it!! She is getting so big. We go to the doctor on Wednesday for our 4 month check-up and shots. We'll let you know how it goes!

Happy Valentine's Week

Olivia hoped that everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!! She was so excited for Valentine's that she had an outfit for everyday of the week! She was a very lucky girl on Valentine's Day, because Daddy sent her flowers on Valentine's Day at daycare.

The Neighborhood isn't the same...

We had to say good-bye to our friends, Mark, Jme, Isabela, & Daisy the dog a few weeks ago (they're standing next to us in the top picture...Isabela's reaching towards Olivia). Now the Kalamazoo neighborhood just isn't the same. We had a fun good-bye party for them to say "Good luck in Utah!! We'll miss you." Even Samson is sad...hopefully, they will visit soon.

Sick baby :o(

Olivia has been sick this week...good thing mom could stay home with her...she had 2 snow days this week! Thank you Michigan weather! We went to the doctor today, and she has broncholilitis (RSV). It's a virus, so it has to run its course! Yuck! Hopefully, she'll be feeling better soon. However, even though she's been coughing and has a ton of mucus, she is still smiling away! By the way...she weighed 11 lbs, 12 ozs today! Sorry a few are blurry...they're action shots. :o)

Mmmm...Hands!

Olivia has recently really taken an interest in...eating her hands!! Mmmm. Although, she still likes her pacifier every now and then. She's even been taking it out of her mouth and holding it in her hands!
